Patrick L. Elliott D.O., F.A.C.S., Medical Director is a board certified general and trauma surgeon.  His passion and belief that Autism Spectrum Disorder in an “acquired brain injury” with toxic and metabolic components associated with a genetic predisposition is based on his extensive personal experience as both a physician and parent of children with ASD.  After his twin boys were both diagnosed with Autism at age 3 in 2004, he worked tirelessly to help his children overcome the challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  The use of a combined behavioral and biomedical approach to treatment has yielded extraordinary results with both his children, along with countless others he has helped and learned from along the way.

As a MAPS medical academy of special needs physician, Dr. Elliott continues to broaden his own experiences and expertise in treating children and adults with Autism spectrum disorder, PANDS, PANS, and other conditions associated with developmental delay.  As such, our practice remains of the “cutting edge” of new and innovative approaches as we help children with special needs maximize their potential.
